I’ll start by announcing my e-friends that by the end of July I am shutting down the blog and all the other websites that I have as I am moving forward to a forum oriented platform Kent & Young. So if you wish to keep in touch and engage in interesting live conversations, you can subscribe there and sign in the forums.
Leads For Success
Did it cross your mind that rising above the crowd
is not optional anymore?
It’s been a while since I am thinking on how to integrate my own diversity of skills and passions in such a way to be able to thrive in both times: today and tomorrow.
After years of continuous learning and breaking it all down to essences and key areas, Kent & Young design thinking and transformation creative service turned out to be the best formula for me in terms of doing what I want and staying connected.
On this pathway, I cross the lines from being a struggling individual and a small bankrupt business owner to being a serial awarded problem solver in global competitions and an emerging writer trying to win my corner of the web.
Thanks to the new digital and technology tools and venues that allow any of us to grow exponentially, my survival was possible. If any previous generation lived these times, they would have touched the skies.
I had to adapt to a lot of revolutions: from communism to capitalism (as I am a Romanian), to digital revolution (3.0) and now to technology revolution (4.0). I had to develop the capacity to adapt instantly to whatever twists and turns life gifted me with. It was always a die or live challenge. Always on the verge.
I had to learn things I thought I am not capable to learn and take risks I never thought I would be able to take. Diving into unknown, exploring uncharted territories and rising above the crowds were the only options available on my pathway, in the reality I had to conquer.
There is a universe of stories, knowledge and insights that formed around me during this journey.
Once I learnt how to integrate and manage my own diversity and how to navigate in this more and more complex, multidimensional and fast changing world, more people and organizations approached me to help them out for the same and more ideas emerged about what to do next and how.
“Rise Above The Crowd” is my first guiding book about how self-redesign impacts the world by using the writing craft as strategy and the internet as venue. The book is part of “Leads for Success” themed series of books.
What if your entire life depends on being the first and the best from hundreds, thousands and even millions to win another day of your life?
What if your entire life depends on how well you craft your words, on your clarity of thinking and on your faith that you are going to make it?
At the time our generation was born, rising above the crowd was optional. Only artists and entrepreneurs needed to conquer this challenge to survive. It was the pathway of the rebels. Whoever couldn’t breath or fit in the systems, took the path of wilder and uncharted territories to find a way out.
While machines are rising, humans are falling out of the collapsing conventional systems and are challenged to design their purpose, meaning and pathway of life from the scratch. The children and youngsters of 2017 will enter a totally new configuration of the word. Still, their challenges will be also ours.
A new world shapes itself, new tools and venues, new challenges and opportunities. Our competition does no longer exist just in the surrounding realities, it is the entire world. Whatever you want to sell, there are millions to compete with. The world is becoming much wilder, but also much more interesting.
Everything turns from linear into exponential. Rising above the crowd is not optional anymore.
The book has 50 pages, two main parts and it is illustrated with pictures from my personal archive. In the first part you’ll meet me on a very personal ground through my path to the prize story. In the second part I am sharing my insights on how to be the first and the best when it comes to digital competitions about problem solving and other challenges that involve the writing craft, reading between the lines, and winning invisible audiences in virtual environments.
